Environmental Movement, Ozon "to be included in this year's Global Action, Earth Hour," and the activity start a two-month project aims to raise public awareness of the importance of rational use of energy, proper use of renewable energy and the importance of public participation in decision-making on environmental Protection, funded by the Electric Power Company of Montenegro.

According to the nature of the action on Saturday, 31 March, Krupac Lake in Niksic, the lighting will be extinguished šetališe at the dam for 20 h 30 min to 21 h 30 min.

In this way, Niksic will be one of 6,000 cities in over 140 countries, this year will be included in this global action.

Activists from the environmental movement, Ozon "in cooperation with interested citizens to realize adequate performance, with the aim to make a message to world leaders at the Summit of Rio +20 in Brazil, decide the future of our planet.

One of the goals of the project and receive feedback response of various target groups on the possibilities of sustainable development in our country, with emphasis on energy efficiency and renewable forms of energy, in order to establish a reasoned public dialogue on the challenges facing our society, the global summit RIO + 20, which will be attended by official delegations of Montenegro.

Organizing three Mini RIO +20 summit, with the participation of relevant institutions, we will try to approach the public importance of this global event and send the message that each individual has an equal important role in the future of our planet is at stake and must take into account the interests of future generations, which would decision-makers at the highest level should always be a priority.

Our wish is that this project affect as many target groups to continuously take care of the environment, that does not happen only to certain dates or occasions, as when the environment comes to be that we all have the same interest, which is to live in harmony with nature on our planet is + infinity.
